PSG coach Christophe Galtier went on to state post the match that they’ve beaten Juventus twice and were very happy until the 92nd minute. He also stated that if you want to go far in the competition, you have to beat big teams. He stated that they are currently waiting for the draw to see who they get in the round of 16.
Coach Galtier went on to state that when the team were winning 7-2 last week over Maccabi, they stopped playing in the 90th minute. He believes that they conceded too many goals from set-pieces as they did against Haifa. He believes that if they had not conceded a goal lesser, they would have finished at the top of the group.
Juventus vs Paris Saint-Germain: The gameplay
Mbappe being the France International extraordinary player that he is, been throughout his Champions League Career, was able to score an early goal to begin. He was able to ghost his defender after receiving the ball from Messi, cut to his right and was able to score an amazing shot from the top of the area which bypassed Wojciech Szczesny to put PSG up in front.

Juventus though faced against the amazing Mbappe and the PSG, and were already eliminated from the last 16, were able to put pressure on the PSG back lines in the few minutes following the opener with Manuel Locatelli and Juan Cuadrado both just missing efforts from distance.
An opportunity came to equal the score between the teams for Juventus when Leonardo Bonucci redirected a low Cuadrado header from across the front of the goal mouth to the end of the net to make the score 1-1 before half-time.
Juventus seemed like they had the upper hand in the first few minutes of the second half of the match, but substitute Mendes turned that around with an assist from Mbappe after he replaced Juan Bernat in the 68th minute, this turning the favour of the game back to PSG.
With Benfica beating Maccabi Haifa, Juventus have been able to secure a spot in the Europe League, even with this defeat, and along with PSG and the other teams are waiting for the upcoming rounds in Monday’s draw.
Juventus, so far, has won, each of its last three home games. However, this time, they were bested by PSG on home soil and this has made it lose 5 of their 6 Champions League group stage matches for the first time.
Different from their Italian opponents, PSG has been flying sky-high on this journey this summer. The Parisians, so far, are the only undefeated squad in Europe’s top-5 leagues, a record they are hoping to keep and extend. The stunning trio of Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi, or ‘MNM’ look to be quite promising and flourishing.
