Takeoff who was a rapper of the Grammy-nominated group Migos, died last night. The rapper was one-third of the platinum-selling rap group Migos.
Takeoff was shot and killed Tuesday in Houston, Texas. He was just 28. Police of Houston identified Takeoff as the fatal victim of a shooting outside 810 Billiards and Bowling.
Around 2:34 a.m. police received a call of a shooting in progress, Houston Police Department Chief Finner said at a news conference Tuesday. Officers arrived at the 810 Billiards Houston where there was a party and found a dead man at the scene, who was identified as Takeoff.
Two other people – a 24-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man – were also injured in the shooting and took them to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said Michael Arrington with the police department’s homicide division.
The rapper Takeoff was in Houston with Quavo — Takeoff’s uncle and another member of Migos — celebrating the birthday of a music promoter Jas Prince.

Employees told police that an argument took place after the party when a large group of people gathered at the front door area outside of the building, which led to the shooting. Troy Finner said that about 40 people were at the scene at the time of the shooting.
Michael said that“A lot of people that were there fled the scene and did not stick around to give a statement”.
Authorities said that at least two guns were involved in the shooting.
Chief Troy Finner and Mayor Sylvester Turner of the Houston Police Department asked witnesses to come forward with information on anyone involved in Takeoff’s death.

Gucci Mane, who collaborated with the rapper on “Us vs Them,” write on his Instagram, This broke my heart upon learning the news.
Actress Keke Palmer shared on Instagram that “This is horrible, from the tragedy of the death to the tragedy of there being a video of it online, by referring to a video that shows the deceased rapper in the moments after he was shot.

Who is Takeoff, all about him
Takeoff was an American rapper. His full name was Kirshnik Khari Ball and professionally known as Takeoff. Kirshnik was born on June 18, 1994, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and was raised by his mother, along with family members Quavo and Offset. He started making beats and rhythms in the seventh grade but did not start producing music professionally until 2011.
Takeoff was best known as a member of the hip-hop trio Migos along with his uncle and fellow rapper Quavo and cousin Offset. As a group, they scored multiple top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100. The trio got the fame with their 2013 single, Versace.

Their success increased in 2016 with the release of their hit Bad and Boujee which featured fellow recording artist Lil Uzi Vert.
The single became an internet sensation, by making a multitude of memes that played off the lyrics rain drop, drop top.
The song has gotten a bigger boost after “Atlanta” creator and star Glover name-dropped the single during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.
