About The UCLA Bruins football plan constitutes the University of California, Los Angeles as a member of the Pac-12 Conference at the NCAA Division, Football Bowl level. Rose Bowl in Pasadena UCLA plays home games.
Jake Bobo came out as the No. 1 receiver
All year, no one knows who will be Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s favourite target and the team’s No. 1 receiver. It’s like Jake Bobo.
There is hope that the Duke transfer will emerge as a top target, but there is no certainty that he will have to adjust to the new offence, but he looked like the No. 1 receiver Friday night.
For UCLA on third down or moving the chain, Bobo struggled all night, catching six passes for 142 yards and six touchdowns. Nipping on Kazmeir Allen’s heels, he is the team’s top receiver going into this game, but there is no question now.
3 quarters
No one will tell you this Friday. Through three quarters, UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson completed 21 of 30 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns while also adding 29 yards and another score. The Bruins had two stops on fourth down but otherwise scored on each drive.
15 more minutes.
2nd quarter
UCLA went on a 17-3 run in the second quarter Friday, outscoring the Huskies 163-42. UW quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw a pair and was sacked for the first time this season (former Husky outside linebacker Laiatu Latu, no less). The Huskies alone perform 4 penalties for 43 yards in the second quarter.
While the preseason offence and passing have been consistent for that matter, the weakness of UW’s secondary has been evident this season. Not tonight. UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson had 241 yards and two touchdowns in the first half alone.
Oh, and the Bruins got the ball to start the second half.
1st quarter
The Huskies have not had many problems this fall.
The first 252 minutes and six seconds of four-plus games in this season were Washington’s, 16 plus-plus consecutive quarters, entering Friday’s first quarter. After UW stuffed UCLA on fourth-and-3, running back Wayne Taulapapa threw a pass and fell in the end zone for a safety. The Bruins then went on an 11-play, 93-yard drive to take a 9-7 lead.
UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson completed 8 of 14 passes for 113 yards and the Bruins went 5-6 on third down.
This is the ultimate challenge.

UCLA coach Chip Kelly instructed his players during Saturday’s 45-17 win over Colorado. Kelly is aware of UCLA Bruins’ Situation will be examined against Washington.
After a 45-17 rout of Colorado State, UCLA’s coach turned his body clock forward about 12 hours to prepare for Friday’s game against No. 15 Washington in the Rose Bowl. Less than 24 hours after landing in L.A., UCLA has returned to the practice field to prepare for a big test of a team that is undefeated this season.
After the Bruins improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2015, Kelly praised his players. UCLA has outscored its four opponents 78-21 this season, including a 24-7 halftime advantage Saturday. . Matches against three consecutive opponents will show the Bruins’ preparation for the championship.
UCLA vs Washington
Washington and the UCLA Bruins will square off in a Pac-12 battle at 10:30 a.m. ET Friday at the Rose Bowl. Expect a busy goalkeeper: If their previous game is any indication, the Huskies and UCLA will burn the board.
Washington didn’t have much trouble against the Stanford Cardinal at home last Saturday, as they cruised to a 40-22 victory. This is the first time Taulapapa has broken 100+ yards all year. Special teams scored 16 points for Washington. K Peyton Henry went 4-for-4 with a perfect game.
Meanwhile, if you finish with 206 more yards than your opponent like the Bruins did last Saturday, it’s a good result. Everything went against the Colorado Buffaloes with a 45-17 victory. The game ended late in the third with UCLA leading 38-10. Their RB Zach Charbonnet caught fire, rushing for three TDs and 104 yards on nine carries.
This next contest is expected to be close, with the Huskies only 3 points behind. They have consistently won against the spread as favourites (3-0), so they can make a quick bet.
Two offensive stats to look at Washington boasts the most passing yards per game in the nation at 368.8. The Bruins showed off their offensive firepower when they ranked 11th in the nation in yards per game with an average of 508.3.
