World Series 2022 Game 3 has been postponed Monday night and scheduled for Tuesday. The game was held between the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros in the city of Brotherly Love.
Game 3 reschedule on 1 November 2022, Tuesday night. Because of this the rest of the match has also been rescheduled.
Because of Monday’s postponement due to rain, Games 3, 4, and 5 are now scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Philadelphia. Friday will be an off day now, and Games 6 and 7, if necessary, will be in Houston on Saturday and Sunday.
The Astros and Phillies will have to wait one more day to resume the 2022 World Series. MLB announced on Monday evening just about an hour before the first pitch. It will be played Tuesday, and the rest of the series will be pushed back one day.

Around 6 p.m.ET, light rain started to fall at Citizens Bank Park and will increase in intensity around 9 p.m. ET, and continue until early Tuesday morning. Current conditions suggest the Houston Astros and Phillies could begin Game 3 as scheduled, but once the rain intensifies later in the night, they would have to hit pause and the game would likely be suspended.
This potentially means that Philadelphia could bring Aaron Nola back for Game 4 and Zack Wheeler for Game 5 on regular rest, and could go with Nola in a potential Game 7 on short rest.
Not that you were ever worried about a sweep- the Philadelphia are hot, but no one’s that hot- but Astro’s 5-2 win in Game 2 on Saturday assured us that this series is going at least five.. and it sure looks, at least to these eyes, to be potentially going a lot longer than that.

The World Series 2022 is headed to Philadelphia. The Phillies and Astros split Game 1 and 2 at Minute Maid Park over the weekend, so the World Series is now a best-of-five series as it shifts to Citizens Bank Park for Games 3-5 Because Game 3 was rained out Monday night and series will pick back up Tuesday.
The Philadelphia Phillies are 1-3 in Game 2s this postseason and 9-0 in all other games. They surely hope that trend continues after dropping Game 2 and allowing the Houston Astros to even the series. Houston is 8-1 in nine postseason games this October and, in the loss, they had a 5-0 lead, They have been ahead in every game thus far.
Game 1 of the series saw the Philadelphia Phillies pull off a come-from-behind 6-5 win Friday after being down 5-0. Philadelphia won with a home run by Realmuto in the top of the 10th inning, hushing a raucous home crowd at Astros’ Minute Maid Park. Houston Astros then failed to score with runners on second and third to end the game.
The Houston, in their fourth World Series in six years, won 106 games in the regular season. In addition to the American League Championship Series sweep against the Yankees, the Houston Astros also swept the Mariners in the American League Divisional Series.
The Philadelphia Phillies are vying for their third World Series title, with the franchise’s last coming back in 2008.
